TEACHING QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, English and German (2003)
- Advanced level course of Business English and Internship programme with  EF in San Francisco California (2003)
- English teacher in a private school (2004).
- "Experience as a teacher of Italian as a second language":
December 2005. One-week course of Italian at advanced level, grammar and conversation, sightseeing tour in the city of Ferrara, cooking classes on the most typical dishes of the area, guided excursion to the city of Ravenna and Bologna.

February 2008: One-week course of Italian at intermediate level, grammar and conversation, guided visits to both the cities of Ferrara and Parma.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
I like cycling, travelling, meeting people from all over the world and I am in particular fond of horse back riding, which I usually practice once a week. I love literature, especially the English and American ones.

THE CITY, EXCURSIONS AND ATTRACTIONS
The house I live in is only 10 minutes by bicycle from the city centre.
Ferrara is called “The City for Cyclists” as it’s really comfortable and amusing to cycle in and around this ancient beautiful city, with its famous castle and the long massive walls surrounding the city centre.
There’s a plenty of shops, stores, pubs, cinemas and restaurants where you can taste the local cousine. If you are fond of arts, “Palazzo dei Diamanti” features interesting art exhibits, while “Teatro Comunale” welcomes world-wide known theatre groups and musicians like Abbado.
The river “Po” flows just near Ferrara and it divides it from Regione Veneto, which is not far to reach: in only 1 hour and 15 minutes we can get to the enchanting Venice by train and Verona is about 40 minutes by car, with its famous “Arena” and “Juliet’s balcony”.
Depending on the period of stay, it’s also fun to go to the seaside, which is crowded with people in the summertime.

ACCOMMODATION
I live in a four floors terraced house with a big and cosy attic room for the guests.

THE TUTOR, Eleonora
I am outgoing and friendly and I like meeting people from abroad. I like travelling a lot and getting to know different cultures and traditions. I would be really glad to drive the students around, offering several opportunities to learn Italian and introducing them to my friends.
I have been horse back riding since I was 11, once a week I usually go to a gorgeous country side club where you can find horses, swimming pool, a restaurant and even a fitness centre. It’s really fun and it’s the ideal place to spend your leisure time!
