This school is perfect if you really want to learn the language. Reggio Emilia is a small city with friendly people who are easy to make contact with and who generally only speak Italian. It is close to all major Italian cities in the north but is not overrun with tourists. If you want authentic Italian life, this is the place.
The school itself is nice and intimate with just a few students per class and super friendly teachers who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to have fun. They really bring you into their world and introduce you to all the city has to offer. You won’t be left alone to fend for yourself.
I walked away with lifelong friends and would return in an instant.
